To continue being a leader in providing professional pet sitting services to the Huntsville/Madison area, Owner Donna Patterson feels continuing education on pet health and behavior is the key to providing the very best in caring for her client’s pets. "I’m certified through The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, have completed the American Red Cross Pet First Aid, and recently took the Pet Tech First Aid course that is the key for professionalism," Donna states. "Petz Sitter not only wants to provide the very best for in-home pet sitting services and dog walking, but also to be prepared in the event of an emergency."
Donna recently attended Pet Sitters International’s (PSI) 14th Annual Conference in Orlando, FL and was one of more than 200 professional pet sitters and industry supporters to attend. Donna attended workshop classes to receive credit toward the PSI’s Accreditation Program, which is an in-depth educational coursework that has been tailored exclusively for pet sitters. "Investing in the education of pet care, behavior, and health is the most important thing in serving our clients and their pets," she says.
Bonded and insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas, specifically designed for the pet sitters, Petz Sitter continues to strive to be the premier concierge service of professional pet sitting. During all initial consultations for new clients, insurance verification is provided within an information packet.
Petz Sitter service includes in-home pet visits lasting 30-plus minutes for as many times as needed for the individual pet. Visits include exercise, feeding, watering, and taking care of the client’s home. Monthly dog walking contracts are also available for clients who need their dogs walked daily.
"At Petz Sitter, we enforce high standards to earn our goal of being the premier concierge service in professional pet sitting," Donna comments. "Pets are the top priority and their needs, health, and safety are always our top consideration."
